Zoot Enterprises Introduces Diakon Test File Modification Tool Version 3.1

New version offers significant advances in functionality and usability

Diakon creates credit reports that automatically test an institution's unique decisioning logic. Its intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) streamlines testing and makes the process more reliable. Version 3.1 is a functionality and interface enhancement available to all previous users of Diakon.

"Diakon 3.1 offers more options, including modified search tools and advanced editing abilities," said Kevin Fletcher, product manager at Zoot. "With the click of a button, users have the ability to create test files instantaneously." To improve usability and efficiency, Diakon 3.1 provides a variety of standard editing capabilities and associated shortcut keys (i.e. cut, copy, paste, etc.). Users also get unlimited freedom to save and organize their objects including test sets, test credit files, and parse maps.

Diakon 3.1's Test Set Editor allows users to create and save a group of test files in a batch, called a "test set." Test sets are based on the criteria users need and can be saved with a name and description. The check-in/check-out function prevents multiple users from modifying the same object at the same time. Users can easily identify which mode they are working in based on the color of the background. The navigation mode displays a grey background while the edit mode displays a white background.

Diakon 3.1 offers new search capabilities. Users can search open test files for parse maps of specific fields, which allow quick and easy location of field names in test files and parse maps. Advanced search functionality allows users to easily find test files. Users also have the ability to save search criteria for future use.

An additional value of Diakon 3.1 allows users to pull attributes from the WebRules database to build test sets. The ability to efficiently access specific, prebuilt attributes from WebRules eliminates the need to manually build attributes from scratch. Diakon 3.1 uses a configuration file to determine the appropriate WebRules database from which to pull attributes.
